Beaver Lake is an amazing place that offers a little something for everyone.
Helpful Safety Tips
- Water/Wake ski activities are from Dawn to Dusk. Times are readily available online. Cloudy/Overcast conditions should be factored into your decision as to timing of these activities.
- Large craft at speed make large wakes—please give wide berth to those in smaller craft or swimmers.
- If you are on the water early or late when light is poor—whether in a kayak or stand up paddle board, or swimming—make yourself seen. Lights are a requirement for those craft too. And, a buoy and spotter just make good sense if you are going to enjoy a distance swim across the Lake.
- Turtle Bay is very shallow and well-marked with buoys. We are working to re-establish the Bay as an even better place for fish spawning and wildlife. It really is best enjoyed by paddle-powered craft. Help the natural wildlife and save your prop/lower unit!
